When I have to submit bank statements with the FULL account number, I usually use a handy tool called a black sharpie.

Using fake made-up social security numbers is actually not fraud according to the Supreme Court. Working without authorization is also not a crime. The fact remains that if people can prove that they were here by other means, they should do precisely that and avoid submitting anything to the government that is not part of their real identity.
