Great media week. I’m done with American newspapers. I was on TV in Spain, radio in Russia and Germany, and a newspaper in Denmark, concerning deferred action. I can only find these links, for now:
- ARD (Germany) - Obamas “Dream Act” macht Einwanderern Hoffnung
- Departmento 19 (Honduras) – La Historia de Lal
- El Pais (Spain): “Supe a los 21 que era una irregular”
- Voice of Russia (Russia): Obama Gives Illegal Youth A Chance
My partner is currently in Europe, so doing all these interviews makes me feel closer to her, weirdly enough. I’ve also had such few interactions with Europeans. They seem, on average, so much smarter and nicer than Americans. Couple that in with the fact that we cannot travel to Europe (and even if I get advance parole, the government would go ape-shit and argue I triggered the unlawful presence bar), I feel a little more free right now.
